Results

The LEM data sets submitted to the intercomparison are summarised in the tables below. This data is available for use by all so long as it is always accompanied by citation of the intercomparison paper Beare et al.

The data is presented in sets A-E where set A contains the mean profiles, set B, the variances, set C, the fluxes, set D, the TKE budget and set E, the time series. For sets A-D, two 1-hour averaging periods are given at 8 and 9 hours into the simulation. For example, set A8 contains the mean values averaged over hours 7-8, and A9 the values averaged over 8-9. Full details of the format of the data sets are contained in the instructions to participants.

The data sets are available in plain text by following the links in the tables below. A compressed version of the whole data set is available as gabls_data.tar.gz.

Some of the participants also submitted data sets with variations of subgrid model. The details of these variations are summarised on the model details page.
